Liz Messick is an event designer, florist and graphic artist with over fifteen years experience in the event industry. As a former event coordinator, her approach to event design focuses not only on translating each client's unique vision, but determining the logistics necessary to bring it to life. She finds inspiration in the patterns and textures surrounding us, and characteristic of her style, weaves natural textures with handmade and vintage elements throughout her work. Her floral designs are garden inspired, blending unconventional shapes and textures with traditional floral components, and using seasonal flowers, branches and greenery from her own gardens to form arrangements wherever possible. As a graphic artist, she incorporates hand drawn designs, modern calligraphy and distinct handmade elements into each composition.
